Charles Parrish is a real estate broker, auctioneer, and investor with more than 40 years
experience. He is the founder of Investors United School of Real Estate and Auction Brokers,
LLC, a leading real estate auction firm in Baltimore. Recognized by his peers as an expert in
creative real estate transaction engineering, Charles's believes in the fair and ethical process
of negotiation. His unique investment methods are used by his countless students to grow income
and improve communities. Charles frequently speaks before professional organizations such the
Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors and others.

Ian Charles Parrish
President, Founder
Ian Charles Parrish is a professional investor, founder and President of Investors United School
of Real Estate. Ian's investment businesses focus on development and property management.
Having controlled more than $4 Million in real estate by age 23, he was named "Young
Entrepreneur of the Year" by the Small Business Administration, and "Most Informative Investor"
by Creative Real Estate Magazine. Ian was recognized for "outstanding leadership and commitment
to the community" in Citations by the Governor of Maryland and the Mayor of Baltimore. He is
named in the Who's Who of Public Speakers, and is regularly called upon to speak before
universities, professional organizations, radio and television audiences. Ian has mentored more
than 1,000 students to create an estimated $1 Billion.

Stephen Ferrandi, C.I.S.
Commercial Investing and Land Development
Stephen Ferrandi has sold in excess of $250 Million of land in Maryland. Active in real estate
and development for 20 years, he is one of only one thousand Realtors in the nation who have
been awarded the Accredited Land Consultant designation by The Realtor's Land Institute. Former
Director of Acquisition for the Southern Land Company, a large development firm, Stephen's
current practice concentrates on acquisition and disposition of large land parcels for
residential and commercial development. He holds a Masters Degree in Real Estate from Johns
Hopkins University, where he is also an instructor in the Graduate School of Real Estate.

Tony Garcia is a District Attorney for The Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office and an IU
Alumnus. His experience in high-profile litigation and his talent for critical thinking,
research, and negotiation fuel his success as a professional real estate investor. Tony has
successfully engineered short sales, bargained for real estate with local government, and
completed several major rehab projects. Real estate investing is Tony's passion, and he enjoys
collaborating with others who share his enthusiasm. Tony is also passionate about his wife and

Montressa Washington is an IU Alumnus and a professional real estate investor with more than a
decade of experience. An expert in conflict resolution, she holds an MBA with concentrations in
Marketing and International Business from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelors of Arts in
English from University of Maryland. Montressa actively participates in community service
activities such as Junior Achievement of Maryland and Leadership Howard Country.

Jeff Stoller is President of Goodwich, Stoller, & Associates, Inc., CPAs, and a former manager
of Arthur Andersen, LLP, a "Big Five" CPA firm. He has extensive experience in strategic tax
and financial planning, structuring real estate acquisitions and dispositions, like-kind
exchanges, IRS audits, and personal tax reduction for clients such as real estate developers,
property managers, and construction companies. Jeff is the favored CPA for most Investors
United members.

Scott Miles
Resident Instructor
Scott Miles, is a professional real estate investor focusing on the Baltimore-Washington D.C.
area. An Investors United and Penn-State University Alumnus, Scott is a real estate problem
solver and transaction engineer. Using his ability to develop custom real estate solutions to
accomplish personal and financial goals, he has successfully engineered short sales, split
notes, contract assignments, subject-to transactions, hybrid auction deals, joint ventures, and
other creative real estate arrangements. In a prior life, Scott worked as Director of
Operations for The Miles LeHane Group where he managed the company's Washington, D.C. office and
solved corporate restructuring problems.

Joe Bucci is a real estate investor whose success is matched by his patience and sincere desire

Edward Leyden, Esq.
Foreclosure Investing Strategies
Ed Leyden practices law in Washington, D.C., where he focuses on corporate and employment tax
issues from both a litigation and a policy-making perspective. A seasoned litigator in federal
and state courts across the nation, Ed currently serves as a Vice Chairman of the American Bar
Association (ABA), Section of Tax, as President of Consumers for Civil Justice (CCJ), and as
Vice President/General Counsel of the Interactive Media, Entertainment & Gaming Association
(iMEGA). He is also a licensed Contract Advisor for the National Football League Players
Association (NFLPA). Ed graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce &
Engineering, earned his law degree from the University of Baltimore and an advanced law degree
in taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Mark A. Dickson, CPA, CFA

Mark Dickson brings a rich, international background to Investors United. A graduate of Brigham
Young University, he has worked for M.B. Hariton & Co. and Ernst & Young as a tax specialist.
He spent nearly twenty years with the TAG group, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, as Chief
U.S. Financial Officer as well as Finance Director of development of the Farnborough Airfield
near London. Mark also spent five years as CFO of a large farming operation in Paraguay. Now
Director of Capital Management Group, LLC, he is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the
Greater Washington Society of CPAs, the CFA Institute, the Washington Society of Investment
Analysts and numerous other civic and professional organizations.

James Brennan, Esq. is an expert on 1031 Like-Kind Exchanges, one of the greatest wealth
building tools available today. A successful attorney with a Masters of Law (L.L.M.) degree
from Georgetown University and real estate licenses in Virginia and Washington D.C., James is a
Vice President with Wachovia Wealth Management where he assists financial planners, REITs,
private equity groups, and other affluent clients with 1031 exchanges and investment management.
James is also a professor of Real Estate Development Law at George Washington University's
Graduate School of Business, and is regularly called upon as a guest lecturer and real estate
continuing education instructor. He has served as counsel for the National Mining Association
(NMA) and Executive Editor of the Wake Forest Intellectual Property Law Journal.

Michael Gisriel, JD
Tax Sale Strategies
Michael Gisriel, a registered independent lobbyist, fights daily for the benefit of real estate
investors. His experience is extensive: he was a legislator in the Maryland General Assembly,
a board member for several charitable and political organizations, and operated a successful real
estate practice in Towson, MD. Now as a real estate consultant, he assists both tax sale certificate
owners and bidders. He and wife, Brenda, share two children.
