Are there still opportunities in today's real estate market?
Absolutely. Investors United students know that there are always opportunities in real estate if you know how and where to look. Understand that there is no single real estate market, instead, there are dozens of real estate markets and sub-markets. Within a single zip code, there are thousands or even tens of thousands of properties and possible opportunities. IU students are educated to uncover opportunities in untapped real estate markets while bypassing the competition.

How is Investors United different from other real estate courses?
In short, there is not another real estate investment school that offers everything that Investors United does or has our track record of success. Investors United School of Real Estate offers the most complete and effective real estate investment education in America - bar none.

Conventional seminars and licensing classes address a narrow selection of real estate subjects, often for only a few hours or a few days. Investors United goes above and beyond the conventional; offering a comprehensive curriculum on all aspects of real estate investing, field trips, personal mentoring from local real estate experts, networking, and the convenience of a local campus with 24/7 access to a sophisticated Real Estate Resource Center with wireless Internet, real estate software, an extensive real estate library, a real estate forms library, and class videos. Most importantly, you can use all of Investors United's Campus Benefits to "earn while you learn." We're so confident in our program that we even guarantee your success.

What if I didn't do well in school? Is Investors United above my ability?
Investors United is not for everyone, but if you're like most people who ask this question you need not be concerned about your past academic performance for a couple of reasons. For one, if it's been a while since you were in school, you're older now, more mature, with your goals and responsibilities more clearly defined. Secondly, we know that most people learn better "hands-on" and that's why learning-by-doing is a cornerstone of the Investors United philosophy on education. We actually we require our students to be actively involved in real estate almost immediately. "Earn while you learn" is not only our slogan it's our method and perhaps the biggest reason why you'll thrive at IU.

If Investors United's faculty members are so smart, why do they teach?
Charles and Ian Parrish founded Investors United to multiply their real estate investment endeavors. Our faculty follows their belief that teaching is an excellent way to develop new business. In fact, faculty members regularly collaborate with students on real estate investment projects, often putting up the money and expertise while the students conduct the legwork. By giving selflessly, by "paying forward" their knowledge, time, and energy, our faculty members create more business for their selves.

I am already financially wealthy; how can an Investors United education benefit me?
As your wealth grows, so does your need for knowledge of sound tax strategies, asset protection, asset privacy, and new ways to multiply your cash reserves. Real estate offers investors benefits such as stability and control over investment, appreciation and leverage, tax sheltering, liquidity, and low risk; so it's no wonder why real estate is recognized as a wealth-building cornerstone in the portfolios of most American millionaires.1  Your Investors United education will cover all of the above in depth, and what's more, you'll get the hands-on financial coaching to put knowledge into action. How do the best get better? They never think they're too good for a new idea, and they stop learning.

Even students who have had experience investing in real estate admit that one of the first things they learned at IU was how much more there is to real estate than they previously realized.

Do Investors United members create competition for each other?
No. With literally millions of properties, tax liens, and notes per state, there is no shortage of opportunity if you look in the right place. Conventional investors run into competition and end up paying retail because they frequent the same real estate sources: agents, multiple-listed properties, and newspaper ads for example. Instead, Investors United members choose from more than 70 real estate prospecting methods to buy or control real estate for less and without competition.

I'm a very busy person, can I fit Investors United into my schedule?
About 75% of our students are part-time investors who are balancing the pursuit of their income goals with obligations to their job, family, etc. We understand, and that's why we've made Investors United so convenient that virtually anyone make real estate investing a part of their schedule.

Generally, each of our courses lasts between five and seven weeks, with classes held once weekly in the evening. Every class is carefully recorded, so if you miss one you can view it at your convenience in our Resource Center 24 hours a day, seven days a week. (You can even accelerate your learning curve by watching videos of classes you have yet to take.) Field trips are scheduled at various times to accommodate varying schedules. And when you need help, all you need to do is call, e-mail, or attend one of our "Mastermind Meetings" which are held seven times a week.

Our members learn that time, not money, is their most valuable asset. You'll be surprised at how much extra time you can find when you're truly motivated to succeed. If you have the will, Investors United gives you the way.

I'm excited and maybe a little impatient. How can I accelerate my success at IU?
Why wait? There are several ways that you can accelerate your success. You can shorten your learning curve and get more out of your classes by previewing class videos in the Resource Center. We also recommend that you meet with one of our Resident Instructors; our weekly Mastermind Meetings are the perfect time to develop strategies, review potential transactions, and overcome obstacles. Another way you can accelerate your learning curve is to multiply yourself through efficient time management, passive marketing, passive income, and delegating "legwork" to others. Investors United will show you how.
